The airport is inside Vantaa, so this departure is measured in minutes: Pakkala and the Jumbo–Flamingo complex are a couple of kilometres from the terminal, Tikkurila around seven, Helsinki Outlet about eight along Ring III, and Myyrmäki, Kivistö and Korso a short run further out. That closeness is precisely what catches people out. The airport still asks for two hours before an international departure, and a ten-minute drive does not shorten the queue at bag drop.
The roads are the other variable. Ring III and Tuusulanväylä are the airport's own approach routes and they carry the region's commuting traffic, so at eight in the morning a ten-minute hop can take twice that, and the same happens when an arena empties after a game. We plan the pickup around the hour of your flight rather than around the distance.
Because the distances are so small, the departure leg is the easiest place in the whole trip to add something. Helsinki Outlet sits beside Ring III roughly eight minutes from the terminal and opens at ten in the morning — a real last hour of shopping with the luggage already in the car. Kuusijärvi, with its beach and wood-heated smoke saunas, is about fifteen minutes out on the eastern side, which makes a memorable final Finnish hour before an evening flight. Add the stop in the booking form and it becomes part of the same journey.
The car comes to the entrance you name: a hotel lobby in Tikkurila or Aviapolis, a company reception in the airport business district, a shopping-centre door, or a house address in Korso, Hakunila or Myyrmäki — districts where the nearest station is nowhere near the front gate. The driver loads there and unloads at departures. A family's cases plus a shopping day's boxes is a minivan job rather than two separate cars, and saying so in the booking is enough.
The drive from Vantaa to Helsinki Airport is about 12 km and takes around 10 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 2 h 10 min from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. The fare was agreed when you booked, and it does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
