Nuuksio to Helsinki Airport is about 43 km and roughly 45 minutes: out of the park on Nuuksiontie, along the old Turku road (Road 110, Nupurintie), then east on Ring III, which runs to the terminal without going anywhere near central Helsinki. The forest roads take the first ten or fifteen minutes of that and they are not fast, so the estimate already assumes an unhurried start. What varies is Ring III itself between Espoo and the airport, heaviest on weekday mornings, and Nuuksiontie on a fine summer weekend, when day traffic fills the trailhead car parks and the narrow approach roads with it.
Nuuksio has no single entrance, and this is the detail worth settling before you book. Departures start from the Haukkalampi car park at the end of Haukkalammentie, from the Haltia Nature Centre on the shore of Nuuksion Pitkäjärvi, from the Reindeer Park gate, from Haltia Lake Lodge or Hotel Nuuksio, or from a rented cabin with nothing but a road number for an address. Name the point and the hour in the booking form. Mobile coverage thins out in the deeper valleys, so agree a fixed place and time rather than planning to call from the trail — and remember you need not finish where you started: the driver can collect you at a different trailhead from the one you were dropped at.
A last walk and a same-day flight fit together well here. We can carry your luggage in the car while you hike, meet you at the agreed car park and drive you to the departures level with your boots still muddy — one vehicle, no bus-and-train relay from a forest road, and the price settled before you set out. In winter the argument is sharper still: December daylight in southern Finland runs to about six hours, the last kilometres are snow-covered, and standing at an unlit trailhead waiting for a ride is nobody's idea of a holiday ending. The car is there at the agreed minute, warm, with room for wet gear in the boot.
The drive from Nuuksio National Park to Helsinki Airport is about 43 km and takes around 45 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 2 h 45 min from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. The fare was agreed when you booked, and it does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
