Heureka is the shortest run we drive to the terminal: about 9 km, roughly twelve minutes on a normal day. Add the two hours the airport asks for an international departure and the morning plans itself — a car at the museum or at your Tikkurila hotel at about 05:50 covers an 08:00 flight, and an afternoon departure leaves the whole morning free in the exhibition halls. The drive out is the short local one: Tiedepuisto onto Tikkurilantie, across Tuusulanväylä, past the Aviapolis offices and into the terminal. Commuter and school traffic through the middle of Tikkurila between roughly seven and nine adds a few minutes, not more.
The pickup point is the entrance plaza at Tiedepuisto 1, beside the parking area — the same spot arriving guests are set down at, so nobody has to explain it twice. Groups and school parties board there as well: give us the headcount when you book and we bring one minivan, a minibus or a coach — or several cars to a single time, instead of counting heads on a station platform. If coats, lockers or a last visit to the shop are still to be sorted, your driver waits at the plaza rather than circling the block.
A good share of this route runs the other way round: bags left at the airport or riding in the car, three hours in the halls, then straight back for the flight. Because the drive is a quarter of an hour, it is the planetarium showtime rather than the road that decides when you leave. In winter the plaza is dark and often slushy by mid-afternoon and the car is warm at the door; in summer, allow for the extra hour that Science Park Galilei quietly takes out of every family's schedule.
The drive from Heureka Science Centre to Helsinki Airport is about 9 km and takes around 12 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 2 h 12 min from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. The fare was agreed when you booked, and it does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
