Working backwards from your flight, not from the road

The drive from Flamingo Spa to the terminals is about 4 km and takes roughly six minutes, so on this route the road is never the constraint — the airport's own two hours are. Which door the car comes to

Tell us where you will be standing when you book. The spa entrance is at Tasetie 8 on the Flamingo side of the Jumbo complex; if you stayed the night, we collect from the Break Sokos Hotel Flamingo lobby in the same building, and guests at the Clarion in Aviapolis are picked up from their own entrance. The complex has several entrances and a few thousand parking spaces around it, so being collected from the wrong side of the building costs more time than the entire drive to the airport does.

Wet hair in January, and the last errands downstairs

In winter it is dark and often below freezing outside, and the walk from the door to the car is short but not warm — dry properly, and pack wet swimwear in a bag before you leave the changing rooms rather than after. The complex also solves the last-minute list: the hypermarkets a floor away are the sensible place to buy Finnish chocolate, salmiakki and rye bread to take home instead of paying airside prices, and anything forgotten is a two-minute errand. Remember that anything liquid above the cabin limit has to travel in the checked bag.
