Nothing in Espoo is more than about 30 km from the terminals, and the drive runs 20 to 35 minutes depending on the district and the hour. From Tapiola, Otaniemi and Keilaniemi the driver usually goes up onto Ring I or across to Ring III; from Matinkylä, Espoonlahti and the western districts, Ring III past the airport is normally the cleaner morning run, because the commuter flow on Länsiväylä and Ring I is pouring into Helsinki at that hour while you are going the other way. Ring I is one of the busiest roads in Finland and its junctions, not the distance, decide how long a weekday morning takes. Add the two hours the airport asks for before an international departure and the morning plans itself.
Espoo is five district centres and a great deal of forest rather than one downtown, so the pickup point deserves a sentence when you book. A hotel in Leppävaara or Tapiola is a straightforward forecourt. A villa in Westend or Haukilahti, a lakeside house near Nuuksio or a cottage on the Espoo coast may sit at the end of an unlit private road behind a gate — and for half the year that road is dark at pickup time. The exact street address, plus a note about the gate or the correct side of the building, protects the margin you built into the morning. From Nuuksio, Korpilampi and Serena there is nothing running at the hour the first departures require, which is the practical reason those addresses are booked in advance.
Meetings on the campus and in the Keilaniemi towers run to the last minute, so book the car for the time the meeting actually ends rather than the time you hope it does. The driver waits at the entrance you name and takes the luggage from there. When a delegation flies out the same afternoon we run several cars to one schedule, so the group leaves together rather than in whatever order taxis happen to appear.
The drive from Espoo to Helsinki Airport is about 30 km and takes around 30 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 2 h 30 min from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. The fare was agreed when you booked, and it does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
