Down Highway 4 to the airport

The way out is Urheiluopistontie through the pines to the Vierumäki junction, then Highway 4 (E75) south past Lahti to the capital region — modern motorway almost the entire way. Because the airport sits on the northern edge of the capital, the drive never enters Helsinki at all, which keeps the timing predictable even on a weekday morning. In winter the corridor is ploughed and maintained, the cars run on proper winter tyres, and snow on the Salpausselkä ridges is ordinary working weather here rather than a reason to rethink the schedule.

Name the building, not just the resort

Vierumäki spreads through the forest and its receptions are not all in one place. A pickup from the Resort Hotel is a different spot from the Holiday Club apartments, the golf clubhouse, the Ice Arena or a chalet lane, and the difference between them is a long walk with kit bags. Name the building when you book and the driver is at that door. If the group is split between two buildings, we make two stops on the resort — a routine request rather than a special arrangement.
