Naantali to the airport is about 183 km and around two hours: out past Turku and then east the whole way on Highway 1 (E18), the fastest road in southern Finland, finishing on the ring road to the terminal without touching central Helsinki. For most of the distance you travel against the Turku-bound morning flow, so an early departure normally runs to time. The section that repays a little margin is the first twenty minutes, between Naantali and the Turku ring: ordinary coastal and suburban road rather than motorway. Evening flights are the easier half of the day on this route, and in high summer the only reliable slow spot is Naantali itself — the harbour and the streets around the Old Town when the town is full.
The Old Town is the part worth planning. Its lanes are narrow, cobbled and closed to through traffic in places, so the car normally waits at the edge of the quarter or at the nearest corner rather than outside a door three turns in. Tell us the street and the hotel when you book and the confirmation will name the spot the driver stands on. The spa on its own island and the guest harbour are straightforward — the car comes to the entrance — and so are addresses out on the Luonnonmaa side towards Kultaranta, where public transport is thin and a booked car is simply the practical answer.
Most of our Naantali departures are families, and departure day carries more than arrival day did: the pushchair, the wet swimming things, a bag from the Moomin shop. One vehicle from the hotel door to the departures level keeps all of it together, child seats are fitted before the car reaches you when we have confirmed them with you in advance, and there is no bus-to-Turku-then-train relay to make with a tired child and a boarding time. If your flight is an early one, say so when you book — the drive is quietest at that hour, and the two-hour estimate is at its most dependable before the coast wakes up.
The drive from Naantali to Helsinki Airport is about 183 km and takes around 120 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 4 h from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. There is no meter running while you load the bags, and the fare does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — no meter, and nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
