Hotel Kämp is about 17 km from the terminal, roughly 25 to 30 minutes in normal traffic. With two hours at the airport on top, an 08:00 departure means the car is on the corner at about 05:35, when the streets are yours; an evening flight leaving in the four-to-six window wants some fifteen minutes more, because the centre and the roads north are then at their slowest. The way out is the way in reversed — up through the centre to the Mäkelänkatu approaches and on to Tuusulanväylä — and your driver looks at the traffic picture before he sets off.
The hotel's main entrance is on the corner of Pohjoisesplanadi and Kluuvikatu, and that corner is where the car waits: bags are taken at the door rather than out on the boulevard, where trams, taxis and morning deliveries share a narrow lane. The building is being renovated in phases while it stays open, so arrangements at the front can change from season to season; the driver checks on the day, which is one fewer thing to think about at six in the morning.
Much of what we drive out of Kämp is business travel: a board meeting that ends at noon, a congress at Messukeskus finishing on the Thursday, a team leaving on four different flights. Cars are held against individual schedules rather than one group time, each with a receipt for expenses, and if the final meeting is somewhere else in the city we collect from there instead of doubling back to the hotel. After a wedding or a dinner in the Mirror Room the same pattern applies in reverse: guests leave across the whole morning, one car at a time, each timed to its own flight.
The drive from Hotel Kämp to Helsinki Airport is about 17 km and takes around 25 minutes in normal traffic. Add the two hours the airport asks for international departures and the whole morning plans itself: about 2 h 25 min from your door to your gate. We watch the morning traffic and the weather, and if your flight moves, the pickup moves with it.
Your driver arrives at the address you give — hotel entrance, office, private house or the port — helps with the luggage and drives straight to the departures level of Terminal 2. The fare was agreed when you booked, and it does not change if the traffic does.
One price for the car, not per person. All taxes included, agreed when you book — nothing added afterwards.
The local operator, start to finish. We assign the car ourselves, the driver is one of ours, and the fixed price you see is our own price. If anything changes on the morning of the flight, one WhatsApp message reaches the person who assigns the cars.
Room for the luggage. Three passengers and three suitcases travel in the Business Sedan (Mercedes-Benz E-Class or similar); larger groups take the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz Vito, up to eight) or the Business Minibus (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, up to fifteen), and for 16 and more we arrange a coach on request — so nobody travels separately from their bags.
