Fixed price from €65 · about 25–30 minutes · door-to-door, no meter
Book your transferTravel directly from Helsinki Airport (HEL) to Clarion Hotel Helsinki in a private, pre-booked car with an English-speaking driver. Your driver tracks your flight, meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, and takes you straight to the hotel entrance in Jätkäsaari — no taxi queue, no meter running in traffic, and one fixed price agreed before you book. The drive into the West Harbour district takes about 25 to 30 minutes, and the fare is per vehicle, not per person.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki is one of the city's best-known modern landmarks — twin 16-storey towers rising above the West Harbour, home to a rooftop pool, a sky bar and one of the largest conference centres in Finland. Arriving there should be as smooth as the stay itself, and that is exactly what a pre-booked transfer is for. We have been driving international travellers across Helsinki and Finland since 2008.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki sits in the central Helsinki zone, so your transfer from the airport is a single fixed fare per vehicle — it does not change with traffic, time of day, or the exact street in the city. The exact price for your details, including any extra stop, is shown instantly in the booking form above.

A fixed price, not a running meter. A metered taxi from Helsinki Airport into the city is unpredictable — the fare climbs in traffic and at red lights, and you have no certainty before you get in. With us you see the full price before you book and pay exactly that, whatever the traffic and whatever the hour.
Right for conference and event travel. Clarion Hotel Helsinki hosts some of the largest conferences and congresses in Finland, and arriving delegates often land within the same short window. A pre-booked car means your driver is waiting regardless of how busy the terminal is, with no competing for a taxi against a whole conference's worth of arrivals.
A driver who waits for you. We track your flight in real time. If you land late, your driver is still there — with up to 60 minutes of free waiting time included. No rebooking, no second fare, no scramble for a car at a busy terminal rank.
One car, door to door, with your bags. Jätkäsaari is well served by tram, but that still means a walk with luggage at both ends. A private transfer removes every change: one car, from the arrivals hall straight to the hotel entrance.
Right for business and for leisure. Whether you are flying in for a congress, a business meeting, or a city break built around the hotel's rooftop pool and sky bar, a pre-booked car sets the tone for the visit and gives you a clean receipt for expenses.
Helsinki Airport lies about 20 km north of the city centre, and the drive to Clarion Hotel Helsinki takes roughly 25 to 30 minutes in normal traffic. The route runs south from the terminals into the city, arriving at Tyynenmerenkatu 2 in Jätkäsaari, the modern harbour district that has grown up around Helsinki's West Harbour.
You travel in a clean, modern car with a professional driver who knows the district and exactly where to stop at the hotel's entrance. We are a pre-booked service — please book at least 24 hours ahead. After booking you receive an email confirmation with your booking reference and your driver's meeting instructions, and on the day we monitor your flight so pickup follows your actual landing time.
For the return leg, we collect you from the hotel lobby at your chosen time and bring you back to Helsinki-Vantaa for departure, with the same fixed pricing.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki opened in October 2016 in Jätkäsaari, the West Harbour district, and quickly became one of the city's most recognisable modern landmarks. Two 78-metre, 16-storey towers hold 425 rooms — among the largest hotels in Finland — alongside one of the country's biggest conference centres, with meeting rooms and halls able to seat up to around a thousand guests for congresses and events.
The hotel sits in Jätkäsaari, a former container port turned modern waterfront district, right beside Helsinki's West Harbour. Cranes and shipping views give the area a genuine maritime character, while new apartment blocks, cafés and shops have filled in around the hotel in the years since it opened. Tram lines run directly past the building, and the district feels distinctly different from the historic centre a few minutes away.
On the 16th floor, Clarion Hotel Helsinki has a heated rooftop pool with panoramic views over the city and the harbour, alongside a sauna, gym and sun terrace. Just above it, the Skyroom Bar is one of Helsinki's best-known spots for a drink with a view, especially as the sun sets over the sea in summer. On the lower ground floor, the Living Room offers a quieter space to work or relax with coffee.
The Social Bar & Bistro serves classic bistro dishes with a modern twist, drawing on both local and international influences, and has been one of the hotel's signature dining spaces since opening. Breakfast is served daily to a high standard, and with the conference centre alongside, the hotel is well set up for both leisure dining and business entertaining.
With around a dozen meeting rooms and a main hall accommodating several hundred guests, Clarion Hotel Helsinki is one of Finland's most active congress venues, hosting everything from corporate meetings to large international conferences. For delegates flying in, a pre-booked transfer avoids exactly the kind of taxi-rank bottleneck that a large conference arrival can create.
Trams 7 and 9 stop directly outside the hotel, reaching the city centre in around 12 to 15 minutes, and Ruoholahti metro station is about a 10-minute walk away. From there, Helsinki's historic centre — the Esplanade, Senate Square, the Market Square and Uspenski Cathedral — is easily reached on foot or by public transport.
Clarion Hotel Helsinki is only about 600 metres from the West Terminal (Länsiterminaali), the departure point for Tallinn ferries. Guests combining a Helsinki stay with a Baltic crossing often choose this hotel specifically for that walking distance, and we can arrange a fixed-price transfer to the terminal as easily as to the airport.
Many guests use Helsinki as a base for a wider Finnish trip. From Clarion Hotel Helsinki we can arrange the same fixed-price transfers onward to Porvoo, Turku, Naantali or further afield, all with the same driver and car standard throughout the journey.
The taxi rank at Helsinki Airport is unmetered competition — prices vary by operator and queues can build after a wave of arrivals, with no fixed fare agreed before you get in. A pre-booked transfer to Clarion Hotel Helsinki removes all of that: a known driver, a known car, a fixed price, and a name sign waiting the moment you clear the gate.
